Instructions for MBA-BM Application Form
XIMB MBA Eligibility : XIMB MBA Business Management ELIGIBILITY:
Minimum three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, with at least 55% marks in aggregate, from a recognised university. Final year degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June 15, 2015, can also apply.
XIMB MBA Business Management Admission Test:
Apply and appear for any one of the following written tests:
1) XAT to be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on January 2017
OR
2) CAT to be conducted by IIMs on 16 & November 2016.
OR
3) GMAT taken in 2015 or 2016 (minimum score for applying 550).
OR
4) X-GMAT to be conducted by Xavier University at Bhubaneswar only, in January 2017. The additional fee for X-GMAT will be Rs.800/-.
Applicants are required to follow the XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time.
Registering for XAT or CAT or GMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB's MBA-BM programme, if not opting for X-GMAT.
XIMB MBA Business Management How to Apply to XIMB:
Step 1:
Fill up the "Personal Details/Academic Details/Professional Details and upload your photo & signature" (in the Next page) to create and receive by email a unique XUB ID and Password for applying to XIMB. If you have already received your XUB ID and Password, then login as per Step 2.
Step 2:
Login with your XUB ID and Password. Choose the programme you want to apply for and fill up the final part (Programme Details) of the application form and Submit.
Step 3:
Pay the application fee as instructed in the Payment Advice Form. (Application fee is Rs.1300/- for first option, Rs.700/- for the second, and Rs.500/- each for every additional program or test option.)
Step 4:
Send the Payment Advice Form and proof of payment to: The Admissions Office, Xavier Institute of Management, Xavier Square, Bhubaneswar-751013.
If you have filled the application form and paid the application fee successfully, you will receive the confirmation by email regarding the acceptance of your online application form. Subsequently, the information Bulletin-2015 will be mailed to you to the present address given in the online form.
XIMB MBA Business Management SELECTION PROCESS:
Candidates short-listed on the basis of admission test (XAT, CAT, GMAT or X-GMAT) scores will be called for Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai. Candidates will have to meet their own travel/stay expenses for attending the interview session.
The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in XAT/CAT/GMAT/X-GMAT, Written Ability Test & Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.
The last date to fill up the application form is December , 2016.
