IIT JEE 2018: All You Need To Know
The application form of Joint Entrance
Examination (JEE) 2018 is available on the official website of the Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The
examination will be held on April of 2018. The last date for
registration date was January, 2018. Some of the major
information that students who have applied must know are mentioned below:-
Major Information Regarding IIT JEE 2018:
● The application form requires the students to have an Aadhaar Card that they should apply for if they haven’t till now.
●
If you have applied recently
for the Adhaar Card, you must have been provided with a 26 digit enrollment ID
which you will have to provide.
●
Students from the state of
Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya and Assam do not require Aadhar Card and can
make do with any other Government identification card but they should select
the examination centre in their state only.
●
The applicants of the
examination must have a score of at least 75 percent in their 12th
examination. SC/ST applicants can qualify for the examination with having 65
percent marks in their 12th class examinations.
●
The marks scored by applicants
in 12th standard will have no stand in their rankings of the JEE Main exam.
●
IIT Madras will hold the JEE
Advanced 2018 examination on the May. The SC/ST applicants
can get in through to JEE Advanced with the cut off collective marks reduced
from 75 percent to 65 percent.
●
An update that came through on
December, 2017 notified that Non Residents Indian’s (NRI’s) can
apply for the JEE Main 2018 examination by making use of their detail of
Passport.
●
JEE Advanced will have twenty
thousand more candidates who will have the eligibility to sit for the JEE
Advanced examination this year. The cumulative applicant digits reach around
2.2 lakh candidates who will clear the JEE Main exam to sit for JEE Advanced.

the IIT-JEE 2018 (Main) examination the
