1. For SPUP Entrance Test LL.M. programme aspirants:
The entrance examination shall be based on multiple choice questions, which shall be 50 in
numbers (one mark for each question and total of 50 marks). There shall be no negative
marking.
The syllabus for the entrance exams shall be as follows:
a) Indian Constitutional Law
b) Major Criminal Laws
c) Contemporary Legal issues
d) General Legal awareness
2. For SPUP Entrance Test M.A. programme aspirants (only for in-service person from law enforcement agencies):
The admission shall be based on merit and same shall be calculated on candidates’academic, research and professional credentials.

4. Statement of Purpose, Essay type question (Total 20)
10 Marks for Essay type question on any contemporary legal issues.
10 marks shall be given on evaluation of Statement of objectives
Note:
For LL.M. course: Minimum 50% marks are necessary to pass the examination and merely
securing 50% marks shall not be guarantee for admission. Admission will be based on merit
list and other academic qualification.
10 seats are each for LL.M. and M.A. programme. If seat’s sanctioned to one programme
remain unfilled than same shall be transferred to other programme.
