MHT CET Eligibility 2018 | Maharashtra CET Eligibility 2018 | Eligibility criteria of Qualifying Examination

As we know that the Maharashtra CET 2018 is a entrance test for many UG courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS,  B Sc. Nursing, BHMS, BPTh & BOTh, BASLP & BP&O, BPMT. For all courses candidates should have atleast 10+2 exam qualified with science stream. Before filling the MHT CET 2018 test application form candidates must have to ensure about their candidature with the help of MHT CET eligibility detail 2018. 

MHT CET Eligibility For Admisson To Health Science Degree Courses

1. The candidate should have to be an Indian National / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas citizen of India (OCI). The NRI person are not eligible. (Exception: Annexure “J” & Annexure “P”).
2. The candidate must have born year on or before 31st December 1999;
However, for Ayurved and Unani courses candidate must be born on or
before 1st October 1999. For age prrof candidates must present SSC certificate with name or equivalent examination certificate or School Leaving Certificate endorsing the date of birth will constitute a valid proof.

3. For MHCET 2018, the candidate must submit a certificate of medical fitness at the time of Preference form filling as per proforma for medically fitness.
4. The candidate must have SSC or equivalent examination passed certificate from an Institution situated in the state of Maharashtra. 
5. The candidate must have passed HSC or equivalent examination with
English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology), from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra as a MHCET qualifying examination.

MHT CET Eligibility criteria of Qualifying Examination for various courses like :


(a) MHT CET Eligibility MBBS / MHCET Eligibility BDS / MHCET Eligibility BAMS / MHCET Eligibility BUMS : 

1. For those candidate who has Open Category must have obtained not less than 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Exam. 
For those candidates who has reserved category certificate and constitutional reservation with PH (Person with Disability) claim must have obtained not less than 40% (i.e. 120 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. 
And for general category with PH certificate (Person with Disability) must secure not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination.
 For B Sc. Nursing - A candidate belonging to Open category must have obtained not less
than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together at HSC (or
equivalent) examination. A candidate belonging to constitutional reservation (Annex. B)
must have obtained not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
taken together at HSC(or equivalent) Exam.

(b) MHCET Eligiblity for BHMS, MHCET Eligiblity for BPTh & BOTh, MHCET Eligiblity for BASLP & BP&O courses

1. Passing grade at HSC/12th Standard or equivalent examination is however necessary.

(c) MHCET Eligiblity for BHMS, MHCET Eligiblity for BPTh, BOTh:

 candidates who have pass HSC/12th Standard or equivalent examination with Physic, Chemistry & Biology is however necessary. www.mhcet-exams.co.in

(d) MHCET Eligibility for BASLP: 

Candidate who has passed 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics and/or Computer Science is eligible.

(e) MHCET Eligibility for BP&O:

Candidate who has passed 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and / or Mathematics is eligible.

The candidate who is appearing for qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent exam.)
in February/March 2018 is eligible to appear for MHCET-2018, however they must
fulfill the eligibility condition at the time of filling up of the Preference Form.

(f) MHCET Eligibility for  BPMT: 

Candidates Need not appear for MHCET-2018 for BPMT course. Admission to
BPMT course will be done on the basis of HSC/12th Standard examination marks. The
admission will be conducted at institute level. 

Exception for SSC (10th Std. or equivalent examination) :-

Candidate who has passed SSC or equivalent examination from and institute situated outside Maharashtra State and HSC or equivalent examination from within Maharashtra State is eligible for seeking admission to the courses in Health Science provided that he/she is DOMICILE of Maharashtra.



MHCET Marks Eligibility For Admission to MBBS & BDS Courses:

A candidate belonging to open category must secure not less than 50% marks in Physics,
Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at Common Entrance Test i.e. MHCET-2018. A candidate belonging to constitutional reservation (Annexure B) and constitutional reservation with Person with Disability (PWD) must secure not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together in the MHCET-2018. Person with Disability in General category must secure not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together in the MHCET-2018.

MHCET Marks for Admission to BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BPTh/BOTh/BASLP/BP&O and B.Sc. Nursing:

A candidate will be selected on the basis of merit in Common Entrance Test (MHCET-2017) to above stated courses.

Additional Eligibility For BUMS:

Candidate should have passed SSC (or equivalent) examination from the recognized board with Urdu or Arabic or Persian Language as one of the subject.
